Grief is misunderstood by our society and children's grief, specifically, is not recognized. However, there are many children who experience the death of a loved one and they will grieve those deaths. If the adults in their lives do not recognize this and take steps to help them, the kids run the risk of feeling alone and misunderstood in the world.
Judi's House is a program that can provide grieving kids with support, but we know that not every kid can make it to our program or to one like ours. With that in mind, we offer the following information about children's grief; a look at How Children Grieve, How to Help Grieving Children, Recommended Reading, Other Grief Centers Throughout the Country and Frequently Asked Questions.
